The MA offers a variety of support for primary teachers and primary schools. We have a dedicated primary journal, offering a mixture of theory and practice, as well as ideas for instant classroom use.

Our Primary Mathematics journal is published termly and is the leading journal of its type. It offers readers a mixture of theory and  practice as well as ideas for instant classroom use.
   
The MA also publishes books aimed at primary practitioners, which are available to purchase in the shop.
   
Primary Maths Challenge Each year we run the Primary Maths Challenge, which attracts schools from across the country, enabling their pupils to take part in a mathematical contest which is both motivating and engaging.
   
  Introduced in 2019, the First Mathematics Challenge offers years 3 and 4 England and Wales, P4 and P5 in Scotland and Y4 and Y5 Northern Ireland the chance to take part in a Challenge designed to be a fun and exciting end to the school year!

The PMC is a nationwide challenge for pupils who want to get involved in some interesting and stimulating mathematics. Aimed at the top 60% of pupils in Years 5 and 6 England and Wales, P6 and P7 in Scotland, and Years 6 and 7 in Northern Ireland, the PMC is taken by tens of thousands of children each year.
