The first book contains information about what is in Mathematics and Statistics degrees, what they have in common and how they differ, entry requirements, details of courses, career opportunities and addresses for further information.
The second book gives details of the routes leading to Mathematics and Statistics degrees, what studying them involves, where it might lead and how to apply. It also contains profiles of undergraduates during their courses and graduates in subsequent employment.
The third book gives details of occupational areas, employer profiles and advice on how to choose a degree course.

This website gives presentations of mathematics and mathematicians at work, showing how mathematics is used in new developments and products. It has been developed by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications which also features careers information on its website, www.ima.org.uk.
