Dr Margaret Rayner, CBE, Emeritus Fellow in Mathematics, Oxford University has died.

The MA is saddened to learn that Dr Margaret Rayner, Emeritus Fellow in Mathematics at the University of Oxford, died on 31 May 2019.  Dr Rayner was President of The Mathematical Association in 1987. You can read her Presidential Address, published in The Mathematical Gazette (vol.72 No.461), here.
