Editor in Chief Wanted:

According to a recent survey, the most highly regarded benefit of MA membership is our suite of journals, with 84% of respondents agreeing that we deliver these very well.

Would you like to be involved in supporting and shaping the future of our journals as our new Editor in Chief?

As Editor in Chief, you will;

• Oversee the successful production and distribution of each of our journals and magazines by providing support to the editors and their teams;
• Chair the annual Editorial Board meeting;
• Represent the board at quarterly meetings of Council, reporting on progress and raising any issues for discussion and decision.

This is a voluntary role where experience of the editorial and publishing processes of academic journals would be advantageous. Whilst you will not be required to undertake editorial duties yourself your experience will help you to support and provide insight to those involved.

This role is also a trustee of the association so will be taken up in an interim capacity until the AGM in 2025 when the incumbent can be officially elected.
