"It's raining, it's pouring, are statistics falling?"
Be it barbecue summers or heavy snow, the weather always makes the news headlines, but apart from making us reach for the sunglasses and disrupting our travel, what other impacts does the weather have? Does it affect when people buy clothes, the number of road accidents, or how quickly ambulances can reach patients? This talk explores how weather data from the Met Office has been used to find out if weather effects can be found in Official Statistics.
