Retaining Good Mathematics Teachers in Schools and Colleges

The Association has produced a leaflet designed to draw attention to useful strategies to help retain good mathematics teachers in schools and colleges. The leaflet is aimed at subject leaders, school leaders and
government and its agencies.

Copies have been sent to every secondary school in the country and also to a number of key individuals and organisations. To expand on the advice in the leaflet we have produced some case studies of good mathematics departments. We are most grateful to the departments concerned for supplying us with information about their work.
