Annual Conference 2008
The Annual Conference
Keele University 2 - 5 April 2008

The ‘Joined
up Mathematics’
Conference
is for all teachers of mathematics who work in any sector
of mathematical education. The conference
will be hosted at
Keele University
and brings together the:
Mathematical Association,
Association of
Teachers of Mathematics,
Association of
Mathematics Education Teachers
and
National
Association for Numeracy and Mathematics in Colleges (NANAMIC).
This year’s conference
has already attracted a record number of workshop leaders/speakers so we
can guarantee that every phase of education will be catered for with a
range of interesting and thought-provoking sessions. Delegates will be
provided with a feast of fascinating mathematics to engage with and
puzzle over. Alongside these will be a full programme of supporting
Professional Development sessions, providing practical strategies and
tools to take back into the classroom.
There is a full
programme of social events planned. These include a quiz, two musical
events and a Ceilidh which will be held on the last night of the
conference.
Joined
up Mathematics Conference is now fully booked and closed for registrations.
If
you wish to be put onto a waiting list please email enquiry@m-a.org.uk.
