Registration On Line

Registration on line for the November 2009 PMC starts in September - please wait until then!

Before you start...

• Schools can complete the PMC Registration Form on line. Please follow the instructions carefully.
• Please register early to ensure that your PMC papers arrive in good time. The MA cannot be responsible for slow or late delivery of the PMC packs. Register in September or early October if you can.
• Only the teacher in charge of the PMC in a school may order PMC papers. Parents and pupils cannot order on behalf of a school or for their own use. The PMC is a national challenge organised through schools only.
• Teachers must use their school email address – personal email addresses may not be used.
• If paying by cheque, please complete the PMC Registration On Line. Please post your cheque (made out to The Mathematical Association) to the PMC Office together with a copy of the completed Registration Form (so we can be sure the cheque pays the bill for the correct school!). Send it to The PMC Office, The Mathematical Association, 259 London Road, Leicester LE2 3BE.
• If you are not paying by cheque, an invoice will be sent to the school following receipt of the order. Please make sure that you provide a School Purchase Order Number on the PMC Registration Form.
• Only one order per school will be accepted electronically. If you wish to amend an order, please email pmc@m-a.org.uk (clearly giving your name, the school name and address including postcode and the school phone number) or phone the PMC office (0116 221 0013).

Completing the Registration Form

• Teachers only: use a school email address and complete all sections of the on-line Registration Form.
• Print off a copy for your records.
• Send the Registration Form to us.
• You will receive an email to the email address you provided, confirming your order. Print off this email for your records.
• If you are sending a cheque, please write it out to The Mathematical Association. Post it, enclosing a copy of your Registration Form, to the PMC Office, The Mathematical Association, 259 London Road, Leicester LE2 3BE. (On line payment for the PMC will be developed in the future)

After Registering

You will receive an email confirming your order. PMC packs are mailed to schools during September and October. Late orders will be posted out in November.

The PMC may be taken anytime during November. If you have not received your order by the beginning of November, please email pmc@m-a.org.uk, giving your name, the school name and address including postcode and school phone number, and details of your order. It would be helpful if you attach a copy of the email which confirmed your order. Or phone the PMC office (0116 221 0013). We will fulfil your order as soon as we can.
