These A2 posters provide a clear visual display of the language and structure of proof in the context of properties of angles and triangles. They are perfect for any classroom wall where mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4 (and possibly KS5) is taught.Posters 1 and 2 give the two basic axioms/agreed facts about angles and use them to deduce other angle properties. Proof 3 highlights the difference between conjecture, demonstration and proof in the context of angles in a triangle. Poster 4 justifies the sufficiency of three conditions for congruence, quotes and illustrates the conditions and compares them with two examples showing when three conditions are insufficient.Poster 5 presents three different styles of proof about angles in triangles, starting with a simple example and progressing to a more formal example using congruent triangles.
