Annual Conference The subcommittee organises a Post-16 Open Meeting at the MA Annual Conference for the discussion of issues relating to post-16 education.

Assessing Assessment The subcommittee invites comments on examinations designed for post-16 students. Please let the chair know of any concerns you have about this year's papers and how they are marked. Whilst the subcommittee wants to know about problems encountered, it would also be grateful to have drawn to its attention what are seen as examples of particularly good practice. The subcommittee also considers and comments on proposed changes in mathematics examinations.

Enrichment The subcommittee is working with the Millennium Mathematics Project to provide enrichment activities linked to topics in GCE Mathematics. It is also exploring the possibility of developing other problem-solving activities.

Government Initiatives The subcommittee continues to monitor government initiatives and help formulate the MA's responses.

Internet Resources The subcommittee is trying to create a directory of video resources on the Internet, in particular ones suitable for use as lesson starters. It is also exploring the possibility of producing guides to good free software available on the Internet.
